Importing Contacts List
In this module, we will go through how to import contacts into the CRM
once you are inside your account Go To Contacts>Smart Contacts.
There is an option to import contacts, Make sure the file type you are uploading is a CSV file and it is less than 15MB.
Once you click on import contacts You will go to next screen where you have to select
Once you have uploaded CSV file, you can select a field from drop down for contact unique check, The Unique identifier we are referring to is what we are going to check duplicates against with.
Press to move further.
Phone number and email address is listed as default identifier, You can toggle between them and simply drag and drop one of them to select. If you want to remove secondary check click on and secondary check will be removed, if you want to add secondary check select the field from the dropdown menu.
After you press you will go to fields mapping screen, In order to import the file properly, you will need to map your spreadsheet to Crm One. When importing .CSV files, Crm One tries to automatically map certain standard fields like First Name, Last Name, and Email. It is not always able to do so, but you may see fields already mapped.
You can reassign these fields ,if you do not want to map them the way Crm One tries to map them for you.
Press and you will come to Confirm Fields Mapping, here you Verify and confirm your field mapping using CSV record.
Press and you come to next screen, here you group contacts together under a similar label select a label from drop down.
Press Next Screen you can view progress and a summary of the bulk import of contacts.
The upload is done!
Now you can view your contacts in Smart Contacts
Now if you go back to your contacts. You can click one contact and you will have option to edit out a few details about this specific contact.
After clicking, you will now have the option to edit out some details about this contact by clicking You can also see here the transactions you have with this contact like Tasks, appointments, deals, and call logs.
