Getting Started with Email Builder

To access Email Builder, go to Marketing and Then Email Builder.

There are two categories in which you can create templates. To create a new template click on You will be able to choose between creating from scratch and pre-designed templates, clicking on one of them will automatically send you to the next step. 

CREATING FROM SCRATCH

If you create from scratch you will be presented with three options. Specifically Drag Drop, HTML code, and Text Editor

If we choose Drag and Drop. This is what you will see on the next page. You can drag the components onto the empty area. You can also choose from the Layouts how you wanted your email will look. 

Now once you have chosen the Layout you desired you can now edit the data you wanted to include in your email. 

If you notice, when you move your cursor across the page you will see these green highlighted icons which correspond to different commands which have been stated in the image down below.

When you open the Settingsicon you can make a few changes to the appearance of your email just like the image shown below.

You can also edit out the content inside the component by clicking  which corresponds to edit and delete.

You can also add a heading and an image to your email depending on your need.

Once you're done creating the content of the template you need to make sure to name your Email template, You can preview the template and once you're satisfied with the result you can click Save.

You can also add a new folder where you can organize the templates according to your like.

CREATING FROM PRE-DESIGNED TEMPLATES

When designing a pre-designed templates you will have two options. You can choose from Builder or HTML Template

So first we will choose Builder. After choosing, you will now have access to these templates. You can choose from the filters at the top what type of business you have and you will see the multiple templates in the left panel.

For example, you have a hair salon and you are offering a few other services so you are going to choose this template where you need to scroll down and click  to continue.

After selecting, you will now have the option to edit the components of the email template. You will also have the option to add a new component which will also depend on your need. 

Once you're done editing the template, make sure to click Save.

Design your E-mails
Start with adding a layout to the email. Choose from an extensive pre-made layout library with many content options that allow you to create your own email structure.
You can choose all the different types of layouts that you want. Drag it to the place where you want to have it. 

Editing a row section

Once you select the section layout, you hover your mouse over the section and some icons will appear above the section, click on   and a sidebar to edit the row will open here you can change the background color, Background Image, adjust padding, and style your border.

To add a new component to the layout that you've created drag it to the section where you want to add it.
To move, delete or save the layout, use the controls that you see on hovering

Editing a component

To edit a component inside the email editor, hover your mouse over the component you want to edit and select it, two icons will appear above the element one to edit and the other one to delete. Click on the   icon to open the element settings sidebar. Here you can make your changes and simultaneously see the results.

Removing a component

To remove an element, select the element you want to remove. Then click on the  icon.

Save your design
 You can save the email templates you create using the Email Builder for future usage. When you're finished editing the email and wish to keep it as a template, click the top right corner and select the  option.

HTML Email Editor

You should pick your email editing tool carefully. A drag-and-drop email editor is definitely your best option however if you have knowledge of HTML, don’t be afraid to test out our email builder that supports HTML editing.
