Custom Fields


Custom field is a user-defined data field that is added to a customer record to capture specific information that is not included in the standard set of fields provided by the CRM system. Custom fields can be added to any type of CRM record, including customer profiles, sales leads, support tickets, and marketing campaigns.

Custom fields allow businesses to capture and track data that is unique to their organization and tailor their CRM system to match their specific needs and workflows. For example, a company that sells custom-made furniture may need to capture information such as wood type, stain color, and finish options, which are not included in the standard CRM fields. By adding custom fields, the company can capture this information and use it to better serve their customers.

Now once opening the Custom fields Settings you can see the list of the field names where you can also start adding new Fields by clicking Create Custom Fields

After clicking you first need to choose the module type then you need to put your name and a placeholder.

You also need to put here the type of text you will be including on your custom field.

Once you're done adding all the details for your Custom Details you can now have the option to mark custom fields as mandatory by simply checking a checkbox. Once done you can proceed and click Create Custom Fields. 


After clicking you now see the Custom field successfully added to the list.
